I hope that you and your families are all safe and well in what are unprecedented times for us all to deal with.
It has led to a much longer time than usual away from academic work and hence we are eager to ensure that you are equipped with the skills and knowledge to begin your studies in Phoenix Sixth Form. But also, that you have the motivation to be successful on your chosen pathways.
For this reason we would like you to begin your preparation for Sixth Form study with a two-tiered approach to your own success.
Firstly, we would like you to focus on your mindset by completing the study skills preparation work and secondly we would like you to complete the bridging work required for your chosen areas of Sixth Form study.
You will find the bridging work on the left hand side of this page, by clicking on the specific subject page.
This work is no guarantee that you will be accepted onto your courses on results day, but will go some way to illustrating your commitment to course leaders. If you are still unsure of your pathway or feel uncertain about your results then I advise that you complete work in all of your potential areas of study.
These bridging tasks are compulsory and hence I would ask you to bring the evidence with you for your chosen course leaders on return to school in September. You can contact me via MS Teams or on Luke.Stevens@phoenixcollegiate.co.uk.
Subject leaders can also be contacted via MS Teams or your school email address (Office365).
I will update this section with alerts on Sixth Form policies etc. and you will get this information via this webpage and teams. I look forward to seeing you all in the next academic year and working with you as young adults in your next educational steps.
